A “Red Burgundy” grown in the Russian River Valley

In 2001, the Peirson and Meyer families brought more than 70 years of collective passion and experience in wine together to form what would become the Peirson Meyer vineyards. Now, nineteen years later they have an established reputation for highly acclaimed wines worth noticing.

Robert Parker 94 Points: “Pale ruby in color, the 2018 Pinot Noir Russian River Valley has aromas of earth, tar, black cherries and tea leaves with spicy accents. The palate is light-bodied, silky, spicy, and fresh with a long finish. It's a lifted, elegant expression this vintage.”

Winery Notes: “Our Pinot Noir from Russian River is a blend from two vineyards (the Miller and Bateman Vineyards) that both lie at approximately 700 feet above sea level, near Occidental. Both are planted in Goldridge soils. The wine offers bright fruit aromas of cherry, wild ripe berries, and pomegranate blend graciously with a palate that hints of sweet spice, a flinty minerality, and distinctive fresh earth quality. Open and expressive in its youth, the 2018 will expand and age beautifully for years to come.”
