A blend of all-estate-grown 92% Sauvignon Blanc and 8% Semillon. The wine was 80% barrel fermented (French Oak) and 20% staineless steel (aged for six months on the lees with no battonage before bottling), only 293 cases produced. As 2012 was the year of great weather, it yielded just the right amount of beautiful fruit. Transucent lemon in appearance, with gorgeous aromas of clementine, jasmine and a touch of minerality. Medium to full bodied, this wine is complemented by a nice creamy texture mixed with balanced acidity. Citrus notes ranging from Meyer lemon to ripe Mexican limes combine with the above notes flowing into a finish that begs for a food pairing.
