Boheme Chardonnay stuns in blind tasting

Boheme Wines

In a recent blind tasting with my tasting panel Boheme “Taylor Ridge” came in a full horse length over some heavy weight wineries such as Pahlmeyer, DuMol, Kongsgaard, Hanzell, Hudson, Rochiolli, Martinelli and Flowers.  What was even more amazing was the fact that it was also the least expensive wine in the group!

This tiny production winery, known for some great Pinot Noirs as well, enamored us with this latest Chardonnay.  This full bodied wine shows of a gorgeous amber color.  On the nose one is greeted by apple, pear, mango and white flowers aromas.  The palate is layered with flavors of stone fruits, honey, zesty citrus and lemon oil  that pair with a rich mouth-feel without being creamy or buttery.  The wine displays great intensity, complexity, and minerality with a smooth mid-palate and a finish that lingers on into a long finish.
