The Vineyard: Following a 150-year family tradition of ranching and wine growing, Gary Mangels planted the first vines on what would become Mangels Vineyard in 1991. The vineyard is situated between the eastern slope of Mount George Range and Twin Sisters, benefitting from the cooling influence of San Pablo Bay. This marine layer moderates ripening and creates excellent conditions for Chenin Blanc.
Wine Notes: A clean and expressive medium-bodied wine with gorgeous aromas of Anjou pear. The clean and supple palate of this fun white offers up flavors of honeysuckle pineapple, mango, and honey drizzle with a well-balanced acidity that leads to a slight mineral finish.
