2019 Cresta Velia offers up a dark-purple hue with bold notes of chocolate, black currant, spice and vanilla notes jumping out of the glass. The wine is full in body, with a luscious richness and bold texture. On the mid-palate you’ll encounter more bold fruit and some a-typical “Mt. Veeder spice”. The wine finishes bold and long as well with modest tannins. This is a wine that should cellar for 15+ years!
