On the nose you are greeted by anise, chocolate, a touch of smoky aromas. Gorgeous opaque color. This medium to full-bodied Howell Mountain Zinfandel is loaded with layers of bold flavors of black stone fruit, chocolate, spice notes (Herb de Provence), black pepper corn, good fattiness and structure. Long finish.
