From the tallest heights of Mt. Veeder, well above the Napa Valley floor, the winemaker handcrafts his story one chapter at a time into a collected work of vintages: a traditional tale told from a new perspective, a moveable feast intended to endure. This classic Bordeaux “style” blend exemplifies its Napa Valley mountain home. All five traditional Bordeaux grapes are used with Cabernet Sauvignon being the majority and dominate varietal. His goal is to create a soft and very rich old-world style Cabernet Sauvignon blend but with ultra-rich Napa Valley fruit flavor. This wine will age for 10-15 years easily.

This is classic Napa Valley.  On the nose you are greeted by dark fruits that dominate this extracted big, rich, full bodied wine throughout.   The aromas are gorgeous and intense.  On the palate this full-bodied, extremely well-balanced Cabernet based blend offers black currant, coffee and chocolate like flavors that linger into a long, silky finish.  This wine is very bright and rich and offers aging potential.  I want to suggest decanting it and let it breathe for about 2 hours for full enjoyment. Only 250 cases produced, so this wine will go fast!
