The “Mount Veeder” is a blend of 60% Cabernet Franc, 25 % Cabernet Sauvignon and 15% Merlot all sourced from the estate at an elevation of 1600 – 2100 feet. The wine offers an amazing color and aroma of concentrated flavors and nuances. Full in body, the wine is characterized by rich fruit flavors and an amazing balance of fruit to acidity ratio on the palate. The wine offers up gobs of chocolate, black and red stone fruit that race through the mid-palate and gracefully move to the back palate where you’ll encounter more intense dark plum notes with a hint of cassis and silky but long tannins and a finish that lasts for a good 30 seconds.
