Kenneth’s approach to each vintage varies with the qualities of the fruit that is captured each year and while always enjoying the praises from critics, the goal is to keep the wines in balance with power and grace.

The 2010 shows the rich golden straw color that we have come to expect from Durell Chardonnay. The nose is packed with intense aromas of lime, apple, lemon, honey, candlewax and flint. The palate is bright and rich, with a stunning depth of citrus and tropical fruit flavors, along with notes of apple pie, mineral, and anise. The finish resonates with spice and zingy lemon and nectarine. We expect this to open up fairly quickly after bottling, and it should show well for years to come.
