This Viognier was slow, cool fermented and aged sur-lee style in neutral French oak barrels for 3 months prior to bottling. This helped to create mouthfeel without oak flavors while focusing on bright, crisp, classic Viognier fruit flavors. If you have never enjoyed or tasted a Viognier, imagine a crisp clean, very floral, tropical fruit flavored Sauvignon Blanc but with the mouthfeel and texture of a unoaked Chardonnay, that’s what you should expect from our Viognier.
