The 2010 “Kitchen Block” is a blend of Cabernet, Merlot and Petit Sirah sourced from three great vineyards in the Napa Valley (Frediani a Turley source, Hossfeld a Carter Cellar source and a small Calistoga vineyard). Right from the start you’ll be enamored by the quality of this youngster. Bright black stone fruits greet you on impact. Lush and bright black currant, plums and chocolate jump out of the glass. Full in body, yet extremely elegant and well-balanced this Napa Valley Red blend is runs pleasingly over the palate loaded with gobs of high-quality fruit flavors and dark Belgian chocolate leading into a long, complex silky tannin finish. Only 3 barrels (70 cases) produced, so hurry to jump on this one!
