The 2006 Cabernet Sauvignon from the Mount Veeder vineyard is an impressive wine with an absolutely solid purple/black opaque color. Beautiful perfumed aromas of wild flowers, lead pencil shavings, crème de cassis, blackberry, plum, and fig; followed by vanilla and barrel char. On the palate the wine is super concentrated with sweet blueberry syrup flavors, full tannins that come across silky smooth and last for several moments.
