He then the traveled extensively in Burgundy and Italy before returning to launch Chanin Wine Co. in 2007.

Mix & match with Chanin Pinot Noir

Amazing color and aroma!  The nose offers up a bouquet with plentiful bright tropical fruit, fresh flowers, and hints of mango and peach.  A very subtle touch of toasty vanilla lingers throughout but is not overpowering at all!  On the palate this wine offers up gobs of stunning fruit flavors, laced with a touch of hazelnut.  The wines is rich and full-bodied, yet extremely delicate and elegant from start to finish. This is amazing quality and value in a bottle and truly a very good Cal-Burgundy example.  Very small production!

Galloni 94 Points: “The Chardonnay Bien Nacido is a surprisingly rich, oily Chardonnay from Gavin Chanin, with plenty of texture and viscosity, but also a terrific sense of freshness. Scents of butter, orange blossom, tropical flowers, white pastry and truffle all open up in the glass. Classy, elegant and refined, the Nacido is also the most overt of these Chardonnays. I especially like the way the Bien Nacido continues to open up in the glass.”
