The famed Sangiacomo Robert’s Road vineyard is located on the Sonoma valley floor directly below Gap’s Crown and Sun Chase vineyards. This special terroir bridges the gap between uplifted riverbed vineyards to the east and more coastal vineyard sites to the west. Two clones comprise this wine, ¾ Dijon 115 and ¼ classic French Pommard which comingle to create a wine of great complexity and grace. Ripe strawberry notes combine with a sappy dark fruit profile & a nicely integrated acidity reflect the perfect balance of this pinot noir. You will love this wine for its supple, silky & refined mid palate which leads into a powerful and lingering finish. Drink this wine early to enjoy its youthful appeal or cellar it 3-4 years to bring out its inner regal core.
