With “Vineyardist”  Extraordinaire Jim Barbour on board and a stellar winemaker, one can only expect the best of this project.   The 2007 vintage offers intense aromatics of black and red stone fruit with a hint of tobacco and spice.  The spice is a derivative of the Bella Oaks Clone.  The wine is very full in balanced, yet extremely well-balanced.  The wine’s full body is coated with lush flavors of black currant and a touch of toasty vanilla.  Complex and intense, this youngster is very elegant and could benefit from some time in the cellar, although drinking well now (decant and let it breathe for a few hours) I want to highly recommend you jump on this 190 case production NOW!
